ExpressRoute

Microsoft has structured ExpressRoute to be delivered over two separate VLANs, ensuring greater redundancy and uptime. Microsoft's SLA states that services must be delivered in this way to be covered by its agreement.

We support a number of configurations that meet Microsoft's baseline requirements and additional options for greater redundancy.

PRICING STRUCTURE

Pricing_

Our Cloud Connect pricing is identical across all cloud service providers. We charge based on the speed of the connection(s) and the distance from your location to each cloud onramp.

In addition to BSO's fees, Azure own costs should be considered.

Circuit cost

A monthly fee based on the size of the circuit. There are differenct configurations available for standard and premium connections.

Outbound data cost

A set price per GB for all data leaving your Azure region over ExpressRoute. A benefit to ExpressRoute is that these fees are greatly reduced when compared to the egress costs associated with an internet connection to Azure.
